The Soleyne staff is excited to announce the start of our ad campaign and promotions with 2 full color print ads - one in the well-known Art News hitting the stands in July - and the 2nd in the prestigious American Craft which will be on the stands in August. Both are full color and filled with Soleyne artists and their beautiful work!

Hello Everyone,
Thanks to all who have responded to our requests to update their presentation on Soleyne according to our new guidelines. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and will contribute immeasurably to the clean, professional and attractive premier gallery site we are becoming!
If you have not updated, as of May 20th your presentation (if any) will be suspended until you get a chance to attend to the necessary updates.
The last 6 months have been very challenging. We are not yet a big company with massive resources. The demands on our modest staff to re-work and re-program the site have been extraordinary - but we have met the challenge and www.Soleyne.com is really shaping up!
-IMPORTANT REMINDER: We are still in our “shelf stocking” phase - there are substantial promotions budgeted and scheduled to start in mid-summer, about 3 months away. Until then you will probably not see substantial patron traffic on www.Soleyne.com.
This is intentional. Print ads and the PR campaign we have planned will cost some very large dollars - and just like a brick and mortar gallery - there would be absolutely no sense to spend such substantial promotion money with no inventory in place! When new patrons visit www.Soleyne.com as a result of these ads and promotions, the site needs to look full, interesting and diverse. Please remember that it currently costs you *nothing* to keep your work posted and displayed on our site until it sells.
Starting immediately, we are inviting hundreds of “hand-selected” artists to join the fold and post their exceptional work on Soleyne. In between the massive amount of other preparations on the site, we have all been scouring the web for “superior” art and artists who are now being invited to present with us. Preliminary contacts have unearthed much enthusiasm for the Soleyne concept.
So, please “hang in there” - we are very hard at work each and every day getting www.Soleyne.com ready for the fall and winter 2009 market… and beyond!

We have completed the NEW SHIPPING DETAIL POSTINGS that will allow both domestic and international artists to list detailed shipping costs, insurances and requests for shipping quotes that is so necessary for the wide variety of artwork that is being sold on Soleyne.
You will find the new possibilities under your “edit this listing” window and you will need to update all your listings to accommodate this new feature.
It’s great - now you can tell any and every possible customer how to approach the shipping cost issues for each and every of your artwork listings.

In the next day we will be sending out letters to each of our current Soleyne artists that presently have uploaded artwork listings informing them of the necessity to update their artist Soleyne gallery site in accordance with the new ARTISTS GUIDELINES MAY 2009.
CURRENT ARTISTS PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES as you will have 21 days to price your works, list in coherent, contiguous bodies of work, ascribe to the site-wide return policy and more.
We aiming at a cleaner, tighter Soleyne Gallery to be in place by May 10th, 2009 when a major push to locate and invite new artists will begin. Any current artist sites not updated within 21 days will be temporarily suspended till the updating is completed.
Thanks so much for all your cooperation with this process - we ARE making a much more attractive, discerning and exciting Soleyne through these updates.
